Usage and Dosage of Polyacrylamide

-  Usage and dosage of cationic polyacrylamide

   1. When used for sludge dewatering, the recommended concentration is 0.2%, and the time for dissolving and mixing is recommended to be 50 minutes.

   2. Before getting on the machine, a small test is required to determine the ratio. It is recommended to take a 100ml sewage sample and inject 0.5ml of its solution with a syringe each time. Stir continuously and observe, check the sewage flocculation effect, flocculation speed, supernatant condition, sedimentation effect, etc., and determine the dosage.

   3. When used in paper mills, chemical wastewater, wastewater treatment plants, and coal washing plants, the dosage of solid dry powder is 10-20g/ton of wastewater.

- Dosage and usage of Anionic polyacrylamide                                         

   1. When used for flocculation and sedimentation in sewage treatment, the recommended concentration ratio is 0.1%.

  2. The recommended mixing time is 40 minutes, and the speed is controlled at 40-60 rpm.

  3. Before getting on the machine, it is recommended to do a small test to determine the ratio. It is recommended to take a 100ml sewage sample, and use a syringe to inject 0.5ml each time. Stir continuously and observe, check the sewage flocculation effect, flocculation speed, supernatant condition, sedimentation effect, etc., and determine the dosage.

  4. When used as a dispersant in steel plants, printing and dyeing plants, electroplating plants, coal washing plants, paper mills, etc., the amount of solid dry powder per ton of sewage is 5-10g.

- Dosage and usage of Non-ionic polyacrylamide

   The recommended concentration is 0.1%, the dissolution time is about 50 minutes, and the method of use is the same as that of anionic polyacrylamide.

   There are different types of polyacrylamide and different usages. Of course, its dosage is different. Although its wastewater treatment capacity is very strong, its dosage must be mastered. Their usage is basically not much different. In order to efficiently treat sewage, we must pay attention to its usage and dosage.
