A serious railway overturn accident occurred on Sunday (October 21) between the Taiwan Railway Suao New Station and Xinma Station in the northeast corner of Taiwan. According to a press conference by the Taiwan Railway Bureau at 21:30 local time, the accident caused a total of 18 passengers to die and 187 injured. According to the official statement of the Taiwan Railway Bureau, a total of 366 passengers in the car were cleared by the Railway Bureau and the Taiwan Army.
