Recently, according to the Financial Times, the Bank of Germany has said it plans to incorporate the RMB into its foreign exchange reserves. The Asian financial forum for the members of the Council Andreas Dombret held in Hongkong confirmed the plan. This will help to further enhance the international status of RMB. After the European Central Bank has put RMB into foreign exchange reserves, the IMF has approved the introduction of RMB into its basket of special drawing rights in 2016. Andreas Dombret said, the German central bank decided to bring the RMB into foreign exchange reserves.
